Our ballet images include rehearsals, classes, backstage, costumes, curtain calls as well as the full range of performances from amateur through to world class such as London’s Royal Ballet, Kirov, Bolshoi and New York City Ballet. Our collections include the Royal Academy of Dance's GBL Wilson archive (1940-1980) providing a fascinating insight into the British ballet world with pictures of most of the key figures including Beryl Grey, Arnold Haskell, Ninette de Valois, Margot Fonteyn and Marie Rambert. From other countries famous names include Rudolf Nureyev, Gelsey Kirkland, Maurice Bejart, Bronislava Nijinsky, George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Moira Shearer, Peter Schaufuss and William Forsythe. We also represent the Darryl Williams Collection which we will be profiling in 2008 and the Boosey & Hawkes Archive.
