| 2008 and St Valentine’s Day is just around the corner
Don’t think it’s all down to poems, cards and flowers it can all be said so much better with a PRINT! Why not celebrate St. Valentine’s Day with a visit to a show and a copy of a print from one of the classics like La Traviata, Carmen, Romeo and Juliet, Midsummer Night’s Dream, La Boheme, Tosca, L'Elisir d'Amore or Sylvia. You could catch Shadowlands before it closes at the end of February or choose one of the current range of musicals Avenue Q, Billy Elliot, Dirty Dancing, Grease, Hairspray, Sound of Music or Chicago. Spoilt for choice! Check out our images to catch a flavour and help you decide. If it has to be music? We can recommend Weber, Gounod, Grieg, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Chopin, Rossini, Verdi, Tchaikovsky or the father of the romantic era, Beethoven. It’s all here take a look. |

Collections

John Timbers collection
We gave you taster last year but take a look at the new scanned productions from the 60's including Hamlet, Macbeth, The Country Wife, Endgame, On the Town, and She loves Me. We’ve also included unseen portraits of Susannah York, David Frost, Benjamin Britten, Gina Ward and some great location stills from James Bond’s ‘From Russia with Love’ starring Sean Connery and Daniela Bianchi. There’s more to come so keep checking. |
